What's Sherlock?
Sherlock is an easy-to-use software that comes with MacOS 8.x to search things over
the Internet. But to search in specific databases, you have to use the correct plug-ins. So,
if you want to, for instance, search the eBay database (auctions),
simply download the eBay plug-in's, put in the the "plug-ins" folder in your "Sherlock" folder. Then, to search this
database, open the Sherlock software and put a new entry, select the eBay checkbox and start the new search.
